WE SELL ONLY BRIDAL GOWNS
As owner of Jillian’s Bridal Outlet I would like to like to let you know what’s going to happen during your visit.
When you enter, I will greet you personally in the lobby where you will sign in and the bride only will pay a $35 deposit. This deposit will be used towards your gown purchase. There are free drinks and there is a restroom for you and your guests.
Your waist will be measured so we can put you in a general size grouping when you enter the bridal area. If you would like to be measured in the back, please let us know. Since bridal sizing varies (and quite frankly is often demoralizing) we have stripped away the number and use a color code system. The color on the cap of the hanger is what you will go by. You will be given two to three colors to choose from. Do NOT choose from other colors as we might not have all dresses in all sizes. Also, please remember that our gowns do not custom fit and alterations will be needed. If you choose a gown that is slightly larger it is easier to alter than a dress that is too tight. Generally, up to 2 sizes can be altered down without extra expense additional to the regular alteration cost.
You will select one person to be a helper as she will assist you in selecting the 10 to 15 gowns that you want to try on and help you in the dressing room. She will be responsible to hand back the gowns you don't like to our consultant.
Our gown sizes range in regular cloths sizes from 00 to 26 and there are over 650 gowns in stock.
You and your helper will put on disposable gloves, which are provided, and your entire group will enter the bridal room. As your guests are seated in one of the five dressing areas, you and your helper will pick the gowns that you want to try on. When you have selected them, our consultant will roll them into your dressing room and the fun will begin!
We ask that you keep your session to approximately one hour and we ask that you keep your guests to five or less.
As you try on gowns, our consultant will help you with the fit of the gown or add a veil or belt when needed. If you like the gown, please keep it in the dressing room as it might be the one you say “yes” to. If you don’t like it than let the consultant know so she will place it back on the rack as it might be somebody else’s magical gown.
As you narrow it down, we recommend that you re-try the last few gowns and hopefully, like 80% of our brides, you will say “Yes To The Dress!”
Once you find YOUR dress, we will congratulate you, take photos and celebrate with you. After removing the gown, it will be put in a pink bag for you and put in the front lobby to be purchased.
When you say “Yes” we encourage photos, and we have fun signs to compliment. We will put one of the photos on our next post on Facebook.
You and your group will go back to the lobby where you will pay for your gown in full with any major credit card, debit card, or cash.
If you pay cash, you will not be charged the 2% processing fee.
Once in the lobby, please fill out a consultant rating and tip card from the envelope your consultant will give you at the end of your session. All tips are placed in the clear box in the lobby and the consultant will receive 100% of it.
